In-house Programmes by MII Eligible for Bumiputra Training Fund (BTF) Subsidy

We are pleased to inform that the BTF subsidy can now be utilized for in-house programmes conducted by MII. This decision was made at the BTF Taskforce meeting on 27 March 2008 after much discussion and in response to the feedback and suggestions received from the industry. This approval takes effect immediately.

With this approval, all BTF approved programmes can be conducted in-house at the company’s preferred venue and can be customised to meet the specific needs of the company’s staff or agents. In summary, the eligibility for the BTF subisidy for in-house programmes is subject to the following requirements:
 - The in-house programmes must be among the BTF
    approved programmes
 - The conduct of the in-house programme must be by MII

Double Tax Deduction For MII Programmes

We are pleased to inform that the Ministry of Finance (MOF) has approved our application to include MII programmes under the Double Tax Deduction by Inland Revenue Board (IRB).  Please refer to the following appendices:
