ABOUT PROGRAMME

This programme will provide a practical approach and insight into the Shipbuilding industry in terms of risk management and the important role of the JH143 survey in relation to Underwriters, Shipbuilders and Ship-owner. Participants will also gain an overview of the profiles of various ship yards as well as the inherent risk exposures associated with Shipbuilders risks from an insurance perspective. In addition, this programme will enable participants to have fuller appreciation of the various vessel construction types from around the world and its implications on carriage of cargoes.
