MII
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP
MII Institutional Membership is open to Bank Negara Malaysia and all insurance institutions as registered or licensed under the Insurance Act 1963. This category is also open to other institutions, at the discretion of the Board.
The terms of the Institutional Membership are as follows:
1. The MII Institutional Membership fee is RM25 per employed staff.
2. The amount of MII Institutional Membership fee for each institution payable for the year will be based on the number of
staff reported to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) at the end of the previous year, without taking into account the fluctuation
in the number during the year.
3. The MII Associate and Fellow members who are employed by the insurance companies, insurance brokers or loss
adjusters need only to submit the difference between the respective membership category subscription and the base fee
(RM25) under the MII Institutional Membership category.
4. MII Institutional Membership excludes agents and non-employed staff. Agents and non-employed staff can be a member
of MII in the MII Individual Membership.
The terms of the Institutional Membership are as follows:
Employed staff
1. The MII Institutional fees RM25.00 per employed staff.
2. The mount of Institutional Membership fees payable for the year will be based on the number of staff reported
to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) end of each year without taking into account fluctuation in the number during the year.
3. For MII Associate and Fellow members who are employed by any insurance company, insurance brokers or
loss adjusters, they need only to submit the difference between the respective membership subscription and the base
fee (RM25) under the Institutional Membership.
4. Institutional membership excludes agents and non-employed staff who will have to enroll as individual members
to enjoy MII membership benefits.
