Evaluation of Itemised Inpatient Billings Workshop
This one-day workshop is developed specially to train Medical and Health Claims Assessors to become proficient in assessing itemised medical billings. Participants will be adept in translating information from patient medical billing records to provide evidence of medical necessity. The workshop is a platform for participants to discuss and share experiences with regards to assessing medical billings. An experienced trainer with medical and TPA background will guide and advice participants in their daily work.
Key learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, participants will be able to :
• match the correct procedures stated in the medical billings with the treatment of the diseases. • classify itemised hospital billings based on diagnosis of diseases. • demonstrate the understanding of the items in the billing against the coverage in the Hospital & Surgical policy. • apply information in the billings with the treatment of the diseases.
